An AI-guided local worker discovery app built for the Hack-A-Agent hackathon.
The real-world problem
Millions of local jobs worldwide are filled through informal networks, WhatsApp groups, and word of mouth. A farmer with an overgrown coconut field, a homeowner with a wiring issue, or a hotel manager needing weekend staff all face the same problem.
On the other side, millions of skilled local workers don't have a digital presence. A coconut climber, an electrician, or a hotel helper has no way to be discovered by people who need their services.
The result is miscommunication on both sides. Employers can't find the right workers. Workers can't find the right opportunities. WorkerNearMe AI bridges this gap with AI-guided discovery.

How ASI:ONE powers this
WorkerNearMe AI uses ASI:ONE through the chat completions API as the reasoning layer that guides both sides of local work discovery. For employers, it turns messy job requests into structured worker requirements, safety questions, and contact messages. For workers, it turns plain self-descriptions into clear service profiles that are easier to discover and verify.
When a user submits a job request or worker description, it is sent securely to the ASI:ONE API which returns structured JSON. The app then displays this in a clean, readable format. If the API is unavailable, intelligent mock fallbacks ensure the demo still works seamlessly.
